Analytics

Trends over time, comparing nutrients, timeline, export

Overview

Analytics shows how nutrients develop over time, per zone, with your activities, field observations and weather on the same timeline. So you can see what an application did, and compare zones. Open it with Analytics & Insights → Trends in the side menu.

Build your graph in four steps

  1. Select the date range. Drag the dots on the timeline. Green blocks are included in your selection, orange dots are excluded.
  2. Select the zones you want to include.
  3. Choose what to compare in one graph:
  • One or two nutrients across several zones: uncheck Split by zones, and select the nutrients in the filter bar on the right.
  • Several nutrients in a single zone: check Split by zones.
  • One nutrient across different test types in a single zone: uncheck Test type.
  1. Fine-tune the graph:
  • Check Target values to see how each nutrient relates to its target value.
  • Uncheck Unified Y-axis to compare large numbers with small ones, such as calcium with boron.

Activities, observations and weather on the timeline

  • Activities (fertilisers, crop protection and other activities) appear below the graph, so you can monitor their effect on the nutrients.
  • Field observations, recorded on your phone or added later, appear on the timeline too.
  • Hover over a block and click it to see the full details.
  • If your zones are mapped (they have GPS coordinates), SoilBeat also adds public weather data.

Save, export and interpret

  • Save your filters so you can come back to the same view.
  • Export graph images for your reports, or download the data table.
  • Click the AI button next to a graph to let AI chat interpret it.

Other views

Under Analytics & Insights you also find the heat map, to compare zones at a glance, and the yield view.
