Overview

AI chat is the AI built into SoilBeat. It knows everything that has been uploaded: lab reports, management zones, field scouts, activities, your fertiliser library and our country catalogue. So instead of searching through reports, you just ask. Open it with the AI button at the bottom right of any page.

What you can ask

• Compare fields: “Compare calcium uptake across management zones A, C and D.”
• Diagnose issues: “Which nutrient imbalances may explain lower fruit set?”
• Analyse a field scout: “Analyse this FieldScout note and suggest next steps.”
• Pests and yield: “Why does Field 2 have more aphids and lower yield than Field 4?”
• Before and after: “What changed since the gypsum application?”
• Plan actions: “Turn this into a draft crop protection plan.”

Type, talk or attach

• Type your question in your own words.
• Attach any file or image with the paperclip, like a photo of a leaf or a product sheet.
• Talk: tap the microphone and ask in Dutch, English, Spanish, French or German.

You can drag the AI chat panel to the left to make it wider, or close it with the X.

Start from your lab reports or field scouts

1. Go to Data → Lab Reports or Data → Field Scout.
2. Tick the items you want to look at.
3. Click Interpret with AI.
4. AI chat interprets them. Keep asking, refining and probing until you’re happy with the answer.

From chat to recommendation

A chat is useful, but in the end you want a fertiliser recommendation that ends up in the grower’s to-do list, so it’s also taken into account next time.

1. When you’re satisfied, ask AI chat: “Create a recommendation report.”
2. You get a detailed report with:

1. an interpretation of the data
2. fertiliser recommendations, using the products in the grower’s own library first and our country catalogue for anything missing

1. Preview it, then edit any block to fine-tune it.
2. Generate the prescription plan.
3. Click Publish. The applications land in the grower’s Activities.

Find all your AI chat conversations under AI conversations at the bottom of the side menu, and pick up where you left off.
